NJ Transit Bus/Train Services

Some commuters choose to commute via bus into Port Authority. The Mountainside "stop" is located right out in front of Borough Hall on Route 22 (located next to PD driveway on 22). 

 

**There is an "express" bus during certain commuting hours. The 114x is designated by the "x" in the farthest left column next to the route times on the bus schedule.**

 

• Starting 1/12/19, the following schedule changes for the 114x bus will take place: Weekdays: Additional early AM service to New York has been added, and trip times have been adjusted. 

 

NJ Transit 

• The two closest train stations to Mountainside are the Summit Station which runs on the Gladstone line and the Westfield Station which runs on the Raritan Valley Line.

• Some park at Newark Penn and take the path train directly to the WTC.
