The Borough’s Emergency Services Departments work together to protect the lives, property, and well-being of our residents, businesses, and visitors. Through collaboration, preparedness, and rapid response, our dedicated professionals and volunteers are committed to maintaining a safe and resilient community.

🚓 Police Department

Our Police Department provides 24/7 law enforcement services, including:

• Patrol and crime prevention

• Traffic safety and enforcement

• Community policing initiatives

• Emergency response and investigations

• School and community outreach programs

Residents are encouraged to report suspicious activity and partner with us in maintaining public safety.

🚒 Fire Department

Our Fire Department responds to fire, rescue, and hazardous material incidents. Services include:

• Fire suppression and rescue operations

• Fire prevention inspections

• Public safety education

• Emergency response during severe weather events

Smoke detector compliance and fire safety education remain top priorities to help prevent emergencies before they occur.

🚑 Emergency Medical Services (EMS)

Our EMS team provides rapid medical response and pre-hospital care, including:

• Basic and advanced life support

• Emergency medical transport

• Community CPR and first aid training

• Support during large-scale emergencies

🛡️ Office of Emergency Management (OEM)

The Office of Emergency Management coordinates preparedness and response efforts during natural disasters, public health emergencies, and other large-scale incidents. Responsibilities include:

• Emergency planning and coordination

• Storm preparedness and recovery efforts

• Public alerts and safety notifications

• Community emergency response initiatives

Residents are encouraged to sign up for emergency alerts and prepare emergency kits for their households.
